Gmail Gets a Makeover

Google has redesigned Gmail with the coming of their new social network Google +. If you sign into Gmail right now, you won’t see the difference, but there is a way to get the new look before Google launches it.

Overall, the new theme is slic and is a much more appealing look than its current form. No date on when the global change will happen but for the moment, you can use the new theme today by following these steps.

Setting up the New Look

1. Sign into Gmail and head to Mail Settings.
2. Go to themes tab and there will be two new themes, “Preview” and “Preview (dense)”
3. Choose either new theme and the interface will change.
