Google Search: Innovation is brought to the search engine

Google search is the most well known and most used Search Engine in the world at this point. No google fanatic like myself would be complete without where it all started.



Google has come a long way since the beginning and I believe, opposed as to my colleague, that it's the best, most modern, and most innovative search engine. It boasts features such as voice search for the manually impared, along with other characters, and the newly implemented image search. There are a lot of feautures that have been around for a while including maps and images to new ones such as stocks and books.

Now, these are just about half of the search features. There are quite a few different ones that are at anybody and everybody's disposition.

My take:

It may not be welcomed, but my opinion on the direction that google has taken has presented a fluent and very useful experience for the average google search user. The features mentioned above are features that I use practically every day when I'm online. There's not a day that goes by that I haven't used at least one of these in a day. I believe that Google has a real product that everyone (including Bing, Yahoo and Ask) have been trying to beat. The Google revolution has just begun.
